Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AnswerAtlas website, services, reports, dashboards, exports, and Shopify application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by GetAnswerAtlas (ABN 56 149 837 322) ("AnswerAtlas", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What AnswerAtlas Provides
AnswerAtlas provides AI visibility and Generative Engine Optimization ("GEO") diagnostics for commerce and content websites. The Service may include:
- Website crawls, technical checks, and content structure analysis;
- Prompt testing across AI systems such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini;
- Visibility scores, benchmark comparisons, issue queues, monitoring dashboards, and exported reports;
- AI-generated rewrite suggestions, structured data suggestions, metadata suggestions, and implementation guidance;
- Shopify-related workflows for auditing or applying recommended changes.
AnswerAtlas is an independent diagnostic and workflow tool. It does not operate, control, or represent OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, Shopify, Microsoft, Meta, or any other AI, search, commerce, hosting, analytics, or payment platform.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter binding contracts. If you use the Service for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, the security of login links and sessions, and all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Audit, monitor, crawl, or analyze a website unless you own it or have permission to assess it;
- Submit sensitive personal data, regulated data, trade secrets, credentials, or confidential material unless it is necessary for the Service;
- Resell, sublicense, publicly redistribute, or white-label reports without written permission;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, bypass, overload, or attempt to extract our code, prompts, scoring logic, or methodology;
- Use the Service to mislead users, violate platform rules, infringe third-party rights, or break applicable law;
- Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, metering, billing, or usage controls.
5. Fees, Billing, Renewals, and Cancellation
5.1 Pricing
Current public pricing is shown at getansweratlas.com/pricing. We may change pricing, packaging, or feature availability. For existing paid subscriptions, material price changes apply at the next renewal after at least 30 days' notice unless a shorter notice period is required or permitted by law.
5.2 One-time purchases
One-time purchases, including Complete Reports, are charged at purchase. Because the Service uses live crawls, paid AI API calls, and report generation, completed and delivered reports are non-refundable except as stated in the Refund Policy or required by law.
5.3 Recurring subscriptions
Recurring subscriptions, including monitoring plans, renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. By starting a recurring plan, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for each renewal. You can cancel through the billing portal or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the Refund Policy or a written agreement says otherwise.
Plain English Summary
If you buy a recurring plan, it renews until you cancel. Cancelling prevents the next renewal; it does not usually refund the current paid period once monitoring work has started.
5.4 Taxes and payment processing
Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor. We do not receive raw card numbers.
6. AI Visibility, GEO, and No Guaranteed Results
AI visibility and GEO are evolving fields. Industry standards are immature, AI systems change rapidly, and no independent provider can guarantee how third-party AI systems will answer future prompts.
You acknowledge that:
- AI systems are probabilistic. The same prompt may produce different answers at different times, in different locations, for different users, or across model versions.
- AI recommendation behavior, retrieval behavior, citation behavior, ranking behavior, and summarization behavior may evolve without notice.
- Visibility may fluctuate over time even if you implement every recommendation.
- Results may vary between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI experiences, Shopify surfaces, search engines, and other platforms.
- Recommendations, scores, examples, and benchmarks are informational and directional. They are not guaranteed outcomes.
We do not guarantee that any AI platform, search platform, marketplace, assistant, model, or third-party system will recommend, rank, cite, reference, display, include, or prioritize your brand, products, content, or website.
Plain English Summary
AI systems change frequently. We can measure what we observe, explain likely gaps, and suggest practical fixes. We cannot make ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google, Perplexity, Shopify, or any other platform recommend or rank you.
7. Third-Party Platforms and Service Availability
The Service depends on third-party systems that we do not control, including AI model providers, search systems, hosting services, Shopify, Stripe, Resend, analytics providers, and infrastructure vendors. These providers may change APIs, models, terms, rate limits, prices, availability, indexing behavior, or outputs at any time.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, full uptime, uninterrupted report generation, permanent feature availability, or compatibility with every website, platform, browser, app, theme, or API. API limits, provider outages, anti-bot systems, robots.txt rules, website downtime, authentication walls, geographic blocking, or model changes may affect results.
AnswerAtlas is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, Shopify, Microsoft, Meta, or any other named third-party platform unless we state that relationship in writing.
8. Scores, Benchmarks, and Methodology
Our visibility scores, issue severity labels, competitor comparisons, benchmarks, and trend charts are based on our internal methodology and the data available at the time of analysis. They are estimates for decision support. They are not audited financial metrics, industry-certified standards, official rankings, or objective statements of total market visibility.
We may update our methodology, scoring weights, tested prompts, supported platforms, issue taxonomy, or report structure as the field develops. Methodology changes may cause scores or report outputs to differ from earlier reports.
9. Recommendations and Generated Content
The Service may generate audit findings, rewrite suggestions, content drafts, structured data suggestions, metadata suggestions, implementation steps, summaries, and visibility insights. Generated content may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, non-compliant, unsuitable for your brand voice, or unsuitable for your industry.
You are responsible for reviewing, testing, editing, approving, and implementing any recommendation or generated content. You are also responsible for your website, products, claims, prices, policies, regulatory obligations, customer communications, SEO choices, and business decisions. We are not liable for business outcomes resulting from your use or non-use of recommendations.
10. No Professional Advice
The Service does not provide legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, medical advice, regulatory advice, or guaranteed marketing, SEO, GEO, conversion, revenue, or growth strategy. If your use case involves regulated claims, consumer law, privacy law, advertising law, medical content, financial content, children's products, supplements, food, or other sensitive areas, you should obtain qualified professional review before publishing or relying on recommendations.
11. Your Content and Data License
You retain ownership of websites, product data, brand material, prompts, files, and other content you submit or authorize us to process. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to access, crawl, store, process, analyze, display, and generate outputs from that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the Service.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit or authorize processing of the relevant content.
12. Our Intellectual Property
We own the Service, software, interface, report formats, scoring systems, prompts, workflows, methodology, issue taxonomy, templates, and other materials we create. Reports delivered to you are licensed for your internal business use. You may share exports with advisors, employees, contractors, or clients who need them for your business, but you may not resell, publish as a competing product, or use them to replicate the Service.
13. Aggregated and De-identified Data
We may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data derived from audits, usage, and reports to improve the Service, debug systems, develop methodology, produce internal analytics, and create market-level insights. We will not publicly identify your individual audit results, website, or account as a customer case study without your consent.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how website content and metadata may be processed, how third-party AI providers may be used, and how deletion requests work. You should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive or confidential information.
15. Refund Policy
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. The policy is part of these Terms. In general, digital audit work becomes non-refundable once processing has started or a report has been delivered, except where our policy, a written agreement, or applicable law requires otherwise.
Plain English Summary
A delivered AI visibility report is a digital service with real crawl and AI API costs behind it. Dissatisfaction with AI behavior, score level, recommendations, or business results is not by itself a refund reason.
16. Disclaimers of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all outputs are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, and error-free operation.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnswerAtlas and its founders, employees, contractors, suppliers, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost sales, loss of goodwill, loss of data, business interruption, website downtime, platform penalties, lost opportunities, or cost of substitute services.
Our total cumulative liability for all claims arising from or relating to the Service or these Terms is capped at the greater of: (a) the fees you paid us for the Service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the event, or (b) USD $100.
Plain English Summary
We accept responsibility for operating the Service with reasonable care, but we do not take on open-ended liability for lost profits, business interruption, ranking changes, AI platform behavior, or downstream business decisions.
18. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AnswerAtlas and its founders, employees, contractors, suppliers, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your website, your implementation decisions, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
19. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service, fail to pay, misuse reports, or use the Service unlawfully. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections intended to survive termination, including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms, will survive.
20. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service and these Terms as the product, market, laws, providers, and AI systems evolve. Material Terms changes will be posted with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, communicated by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of Australia, except that either party may seek urgent injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
22. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any written order or engagement terms, form the entire agreement for the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
