Refund Policy

This policy explains when AnswerAtlas refunds and when charges are final. We keep it specific because AI audits are digital services with real crawl, AI API, processing, and review costs.
Plain English Summary
If we fail to deliver because of a problem on our side, we refund. If an audit has already started or a report has been delivered, the charge is usually non-refundable. AI visibility outcomes, scores, recommendations, and third-party AI behavior are not guaranteed refund triggers.

| You disagree with the score, benchmarks, recommendations, generated copy, or AI platform behavior | Non-refundable. We can clarify findings, correct clear report errors, or rerun limited checks where appropriate. |
| You expected a guaranteed ranking, recommendation, citation, revenue, traffic, or conversion result | Non-refundable. Those outcomes are expressly not guaranteed. |
Quarterly Monitoring and Other Recurring Plans
Recurring plans automatically renew each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel future renewals through the billing portal or by contacting support.

Plain English Summary
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not normally unwind work already performed in the current billing period.
Concierge, Implementation, and Custom Engagements
Refund terms for custom services are governed by the written engagement terms or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, deposits, kickoff fees, implementation retainers, completed work, strategy sessions, and used service hours are non-refundable. If we materially fail to deliver agreed scope, we will offer a reasonable cure, credit, prorated refund, or other remedy based on the circumstances.
Trials, Promotions, and Credits
Promotional pricing, founding customer discounts, coupons, free trials, credits, and beta access may have separate terms. Unused promotional value is not redeemable for cash unless required by law. If a trial converts to a paid subscription, the subscription renews according to the checkout terms unless cancelled before conversion.
Non-refundable Situations
The following are not refund reasons by themselves:
- AI platforms change, disagree, or return different answers after your report;
- Your visibility score is lower than expected;
- A competitor appears more often than your brand;
- You do not implement recommendations;
- Implemented recommendations do not produce a desired business outcome;
- You expected guaranteed SEO, GEO, ranking, citation, traffic, revenue, or conversion results;
- Your internal stakeholder disagrees with buying the Service after delivery;
- You initiate a chargeback instead of contacting us when the Service was delivered as described.
How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with:
- The account email and order ID if available.
- The product or charge you are asking about.
- The reason for the request.
We aim to respond within 1 business day. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days after processing by Stripe or your bank.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback. We keep records of checkout consent, audit start time, delivery status, report access, renewal timing, and support correspondence. Chargebacks for delivered, non-refundable services may be contested with that documentation.
